Great Falls College MSU takes part in vaccine symposium

The Maurice Hilleman Vaccine Symposium is being held Saturday, April 23 at Montana State University in Bozeman. It will also be webcast at Great Falls College MSU for those who are interested in “attending” the symposium without traveling to Bozeman.

Some of the nation’s most noted experts in vaccine development will speak at Montana State University Bozeman during the vaccine symposium.

Presenters will discuss recent research in the quest for vaccines against HIV/AIDS, E-Bola, Tularemia, and Brucellosis. They will also talk about vaccines against emerging viruses, and current vaccine research at MSU Bozeman.

“This will be a fascinating symposium,” said Roger Peffer, biology instructor at GFC MSU. “It will be of particular interest to those who work in science and medicine. We’re excited to be able to share this event in Great Falls.”

The symposium kicks off at 8 a.m. on April 23 and will last until about 5 p.m. It will be held in Room B101 at Great Falls College MSU, 2100 16th Ave. S. Please enter through the doors on the east side of the building marked 4.
