Enjoy an evening of Soup

GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls College Community Choir invites the public to feed their senses at the Soup, Salad and Song event on Thursday, Nov. 3.

For your ears, Soup, Salad and Song will feature members of the 80-voice college and community choir performing many of their favorite choral pieces. For your taste buds, a soup buffet, salad and desserts will complement the music.

“We will open the evening with ‘All God’s Children,’ a piece by Philip Aaberg that includes members of the Great Falls College Children’s Choir,” said choir director Cynthia Stevens. “The entire choir will close the program with Handel’s ‘Hallelujah Chorus.’”

The concert will also include a variety of solos, duets and small ensembles.

“There will be something to suit every musical taste,” Stevens said.

There will also be a soup to suit every palate. Dinner includes a buffet of 10 different homemade soups, green salad and a variety of desserts.

The performance begins at 7 p.m. in Heritage Hall at Great Falls College MSU, 2100 16th Ave. S. Tickets are $25 per person, with all proceeds supporting the choral program at Great Falls College MSU. The event also includes a silent auction featuring the following items: jewelry, desserts, Christmas ornaments, needle work and a variety of gift baskets.

Tickets are available in advance and can be purchased from any choir member or by contacting Cynthia Stevens, choir director, at 406-771-2270, or [email protected].
