GREAT FALLS – The Great Falls College MSU music department will host a student and faculty recital on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. in Heritage Hall.

The recital will feature performances by seven students and three faculty members, who will perform piano, violin, guitar and vocals.

“Performing in recitals is an important part of any music program,” said Cynthia Stevens, department chair of fine arts and humanities at Great Falls College MSU. “Performance is such a personal experience and it can be very intimidating. This is an opportunity for all of us as performers to become more confident.”

This is GFC MSU’S first music department recital. This fall, GFC MSU began offering expanded music coursework designed to transfer seamlessly to a four-year music program.

“We’re very excited to see our music students showcase the skills they’ve learned through these new classes,” Stevens said.

The recital is free and open to the public. Great Falls College MSU is located at 2100 16th Ave. S.
