The purpose of prioritizing Perkins projects is to ensure that educational initiatives align closely with community and program needs as identified through the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA). This involves evaluating the projects based on their potential impact on workforce development, student outcomes, and responsiveness to local economic demands.
The Controller, Director of Career and Technical Education, Director of Health Sciences, Dual Enrollment Coordinator, and the Reporting and Grants Coordinator are permanent members due to their positions. Other members are asked to commit to 3 years with renewing as an option.
