Home health Aide

The Home Health Aide program is a short-term, non-credit workforce training offered through the Career & Technical Education Division. We are an approved training provider for the State of Montana. Our program trains and prepares Certified Nursing Assistants to earn their Home Health Aide endorsement.

Home Health Aides are trained in nursing related duties that will provide basic care to individuals who prefer to stay in their own home but need assistance. HHAs are trained in maintaining a safe and clean home environment and helping clients move about their home and dealing with other situations that arise.

Application materials must be complete and submitted to: Great Falls College, 2100 16th Avenue South, Great Falls MT 59405. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant to add this endorsement to your license
  • Offered occasionally based on enrollment. Contact our office for the current schedule.
  • Course fee is $300 (includes book and materials)
  • Classes are a “hybrid” format. Students are required to complete online coursework, quizzes and exams on their own along with attending class in person.
