Additional Information

Great Falls College has tuition waivers for special populations. Eligibility and selection criteria vary. Waivers do not require repayment. Click for a detailed list of waivers, their criteria, and how to apply.

Unlike grants, scholarships, and work-study, loans are a form of aid that you become legally obligated to repay. Great Falls College encourages you to make informed decisions when borrowing. Plan and prepare to borrow only what you need to be successful in your education. Visit our Loans page to learn more.

College Workstudy is a program administered by the Financial Aid Office and is part of a student’s financial aid package. Workstudy funding is provided by the federal or state government. A student’s eligibility for workstudy is determined by the Financial Aid Office, based on information provided on the FAFSA. Interested in learning more about Workstudy? Visit our Workstudy page.

Great Falls College participates in Military Tuition Assistance, MyCAA, VA Educational Benefit programs, and MT National Guard Tuition Waiver. Visit our Military & Veteran Education Benefits page to learn more.

Eligibility for financial aid for an academic year is based on the specific tax year required on the FAFSA applicationThat tax information may not be indicative of a family’s continuing ability to pay for a student’s education. The Great Falls College Financial Aid Office understands that students and their families may at times experience unique situations. The school’s financial aid administrator is authorized to evaluate special or unusual circumstances on a case-by-case basis with adequate documentation. Please review the Special or Unusual Circumstance page to see if you may qualify for this review.
