Research Database Access

On Campus Database Access

All library patrons (students, faculty, staff, other Montana State University students, community patrons) have access to library databases while on a device connected to the college’s wifi networks. You can access the library’s databases from the library website.

Great Falls College Databases

Off Campus Database Access

Off campus access to the library’s subscriptions is only available to current Great Falls College students, faculty, and staff with a valid NetID and password. When trying to access a database from off-campus, you will be prompted to sign in with your NetID to validate your access. If you experience issues with off-campus access, please review the Troubleshooting Database Access page.

Other MSU Students (Bozeman, Billings, Northern)

Since off-campus access requires validation through NetID sign in, you will not be able to access Great Falls College database subscriptions. You will have off-campus access to the database subscriptions through your home campus (the campus granting your degree).

Community Patrons (including Alumni)

Due to our contracts with database vendors, off-campus access is not available to community members. To access our databases you will need to be on-campus connected to the campus wifi networks.
