Library Instruction Sessions

Faculty may request a library instruction session for their in-person or online course. Sessions may include:

  • An overview of library research resources for your class,
  • Instruction on search strategies and how to use a database
  • Instruction on how to evaluate sources,
  • And other information literacy concepts.

Instruction sessions will be personalized for your course and student needs. The ideal instruction session is 60-minutes, but time can be discussed depending on your course schedule.

Schedule an appointment button: Book time with Ashlynn Maczko

If you do not have time in your course schedule for an instruction session, the library can also create handouts or other online resources to support information literacy topics or research concepts for your students. Please reach out to the library director to discuss your options.
