GREAT FALLS COLLEGE COMMUNITY CHOIR PRESENTS “FEAST OF SWEETS”
Great Falls — The Great Falls College Community Choir has a treat in store for your ears and your taste buds.
The choir will present the “Feast of Sweets” Thursday, March 10 at 7 p.m. in Heritage Hall on the Great Falls College MSU campus, 2100 16th Ave. S. “Feast of Sweets” will feature a variety of music sung by the Great Falls College Community Choir, as well as a bounty of homemade desserts served to your table and a coffee bar.
Admission is $10 per person, and the event is a fundraiser to help send the choir to sing in Carnegie Hall in New York City in May.
“We will be presenting some of the pieces we will sing in Carnegie Hall,” said Cynthia Stevens, choir director.
All of the songs the choir will sing in Carnegie Hall were written by Montana composers.
“Feast of Sweets” will include music performed by the complete 80-voice choir, as well as by solo performers, duets and ensembles.
“The music will range in style from classical to pop and everything in between,” Stevens said.
The evening will also include a live and silent auction. Individuals of all ages and musical tastes are encouraged to attend. Tickets are also available at the door, although advanced ticket purchase is preferred.
