GREAT FALLS – Enjoy a night of music and tasty treats as the Great Falls College Community Choir hosts their annual Feast of Sweets fundraiser on Thursday, February 28 at 7 p.m.
The choir is made up of students, faculty and staff from the college and members of the community at large. The night will feature a variety musical pieces and an assortment of homemade sweets, coffee and tea.
“Choir members will get to show off their vocal and culinary skills,” said Cynthia Stevens, choir director. “The tradition of Feast of Sweets is a chance for them to challenge themselves vocally as well as in the kitchen.”
Two of the musical selections were written by Montana composers, Philip Aaberg and Jack Gladstone.
Admission for the Feast of Sweets is $10 per person. Tickets may be purchased from a choir member or at the door. Purchasing tickets in advance is preferred. Proceeds from the performance will defray expenses for the Great Falls College Community Choir’s 5th Anniversary Reunion concert on April 27.
The evening will also include a silent auction.
The Feast of Sweets will be held in Heritage Hall at Great Falls College MSU, 2100 16th Ave. S.
Individuals of all ages and musical tastes are encouraged to attend Feast of Sweets. Tickets are available in advance from all choir members, or by contacting Cynthia Stevens by phone at 406-771-2270 or email [email protected].
