GREAT FALLS—Great Falls College MSU will graduate 329 students who have successfully completed their required course work to earn an associate degree or certificate on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
The commencement ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center at the University of Providence, which is located one block north of Great Falls College MSU at 1301 20th St. S. Great Falls College MSU Nursing Faculty member, Stephen Wurz will preside as the college’s commencement speaker. Immediately following commencement, Great Falls College MSU will host a reception for graduates and their families in Heritage Hall.
The 329 students conferred on Saturday have collectively earned more than 380 degrees and certificates. Of the graduates, 54 students have earned multiple degrees, 58 will graduate with honors, 55 will graduate with high honors, and six Dual Enrollment students will walk prior to earning their high school diploma.
“Commencement is a time to celebrate our students achieving their academic goals and the culmination of their incredible hard work and dedication,” said Dr. Susan Wolff, CEO and Dean at Great Falls College MSU. “Many of our students have had to overcome challenges in order to be here today. They inspire us all every day and we cannot wait to see what is in store for them as they continue on their path to their future careers or continuing education.”
These students will graduate with degrees and certificates in trades, health sciences, technology, general studies and accounting that have prepared them for the workforce or to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their education.
