NATIONALLY RENOWNED VIOLINIST PERFORMING AT GREAT FALLS COLLEGE MSU
Great Falls, MT—Great Falls College MSU proudly presents Dr. Dan Auerbach, a nationally renowned violinist for two performances. Friday, October 2, from 3:30-5:30, Dr. Auerbach will present a Masterclass where he will work with aspiring string performers. Sunday, October 4, at noon, Dr. Auerbach will return to the campus to perform a Solo Violin Recital.
Great Falls College MSU is located at 2100 16th Avenue South, Great Falls.
Dr. Dan Auerbach holds a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Violin Performance from The Juilliard School, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Rutgers University. Dr. Auerbach has been described by the New York Times as “a player with quiet virtuosity”. His notable performances include the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and the New York American String Teachers Association. Additionally his teaching experience includes the Juilliard Pre-College, Bowdoin Summer Music Festival, and Rutgers University. Dr. Auerbach is currently an Assistant Professor of Music at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York.

Admission to both the Masterclass for aspiring string performers, and the Solo Violin Recital will be free of charge and open to the public. Both events will be held in Heritage Hall at Great Falls College MSU. Admissions is free, however, donations will be accepted.
