GREAT FALLS — Great Falls College MSU is hosting the Montana Region II Science and Engineering Fair on Tuesday, March 14, and Thursday, March 16.

Registration is now open for both events at www.gfcmsu.edu/sciencefair.

On March 14, 250 to 300 middle school and high school students grades 6-12 will display their science fair projects. March 16 will feature projects by elementary school students grades K-5. Region II includes schools in Glacier, Toole, Liberty, Teton, Pondera, Cascade, and Judith Basin counties.

“The goal of this event is to get area students excited about science and engineering fields,” said Leanne Frost, Director of General Education, Business, Technology and Transfer Division at Great Falls College MSU. “This is a great opportunity for students of all ages to show off their enthusiasm for science.”

Registration is due by March 9. Registration costs are $10 for students grade 6-12 and $5 for students grade K-5.

Volunteer judges are needed for both days of the Science Fair. To volunteer as a judge, sign up online at www.gfcmsu.edu/sciencefair or contact Charla Merja at 406-771-4301.
