GREAT FALLS —The 2019 fall catalog for the Center for Lifelong Learning is out and classes are open for registration. These non-credit classes allow community members to explore new interests or refine their current expertise. This fall, the center is offering quite a few new classes, as well as everyone’s tried and true favorites.
“We are excited for the Fall lineup classes,” said Heather Palermo, Director of the Center for Lifelong Learning. “We try to find exciting unique classes for our community, while making sure to keep the well-loved classes.”
New courses being offered through Lifelong Learning this fall are: Turkish Food, Dating and Relationship Rules, The Wood Guys: Holiday Tree Project, Avoiding the Tax Traps of Retirement, Yoga Journaling, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation of Compassion and Contemplative Painting, Google Map Magic, Glacier Park – History from Two Perspectives, 1969 – What were YOU doing 50 Years Ago, Critical Thinking Skills – Engaging the Brain and Discover the Great Falls Area Mountain Ranges.
Lifelong Learning will continue to offer many favorites, including Artistic Plasma Cutting, Creative Welding, Woodcarving, GFC Community Choir, Retirement Planning Today, Yoga and more. Classes are offered with various dates from September to December. These classes are designed to fit anyone’s schedule. Classes range from a couple hours to several weeks in length.
In addition to community classes, the Center for Lifelong Learning continues to provide customized training to meet the needs of local businesses.
