Development
Great Falls College has a volunteer Development Board. This great group of committed and dedicated volunteers has worked closely with the college to help seek additional support and offer advice on key strategic issues concerning future funding.
The Development Board helped identify and support the four key funding areas.
- Ensuring student access to scholarships and affordable, student-centered housing
- Empowering Student Success supportive services
- Recognizing Faculty Leadership through named faculty positions and innovation funds
- Advancing programming at Great Falls College capital renovations and potential equipment purchases
The members of the board also help to make the Night Out for Science fundraiser a successful event, promote the college and events within the community and across the state and attend other campus events to support the students and faculty at Great Falls College.

Volunteers
As part of its mission to serve community needs, Great Falls College often hosts regional or statewide events on campus. Many times these events bring hundreds of people to campus. We couldn’t do these without volunteers.
Every spring the college hosts regional science fair competitions for both middle and high school students from school districts across the region. Also in the spring, Great Falls College hosts the Skills USA competition. Both of the events need volunteer judges for them to be successful.
In the fall, in partnership with Central Montana Works, the University of Providence and the United Way of Cascade County, the Great Falls College campus is home to the Worlds of Work event.
